Adult Ed

The Summers County Public Library is your one stop for Adult Education! The Adult Education Center (located on the 3rd floor of the library and accessible by elevator) offers free classes to adults in Summers County, providing a second chance to earn an education. We also offer free computer classes and assistance with resumes and job applications.

Transition to Post-secondary

This program supports residents in their efforts to further their education either through college or vocational training. The staff helps students identify appropriate programs, assists them with the application process, and assists in locating, applying for, and securing financial assistance. For those enrolled in post-secondary classes, the program offers tutoring and helps students locate resources within the educational institution.
